Make a tangible contribution to the energy transition by applying your electrical engineering expertise to large-scale renewable energy projects. As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of sustainable solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across Canada.

This position can be based out of our Québec City or Montréal offices.

Your Impact

  • You will actively participate in the electrical design of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS) and medium‑ and high‑voltage substations.

  • You will produce and coordinate detailed engineering deliverables (drawings, technical studies, specifications, calculations).

  • You will perform technical reviews and quality control of deliverables prepared by other engineers and technicians, in accordance with internal processes.

  • You will provide technical supervision to junior engineers, EITs (Engineers‑in‑Training), or technicians, including technical guidance as required.

  • You will participate in site activities, including construction support, site visits, and commissioning, depending on the projects.

  • You will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency, schedules, and the quality of proposed solutions.

  • You will provide technical support to the market development team as part of the preparation of service proposals.

  • You will contribute to technical review or due‑diligence assignments, under the supervision of a senior expert or team lead.

The skills that set you apart

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the design of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS).
  • You hold your electrical engineer designation in at least one Canadian province (mandatory).
  • You have experience with design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS, etc.
  • You have experience in high and medium-voltage substation design.
  • You have experience in a medium-voltage collector network design.
  • You are familiar with industry-recognized standards and interconnection requirements on various Canadian networks.
  • You are known for your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism is required because the individual will participate in national initiatives requiring communication with English- and French-speaking colleagues and clients.

  • The candidate will be required to travel occasionally.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 – $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 – $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $89,200 – $118,500
