This position serves as an experienced Business Systems Analyst within the Operations Team, focused on ensuring system changes are practical, production-ready, low-risk, and supportable once they move from delivery into operations. This is not a traditional project-only BSA role; it works at the intersection of business analysis, release readiness, change coordination, incident/problem follow-up, and operational improvement. The role translates business and production support needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, release plans, validation steps, fallback considerations, and backlog improvements that strengthen system stability, support experience, and delivery quality.
Specifically, You Will:
Define clear, practical requirements for system changes, including business, technical, and operational expectations needed for production
Work with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and support partners to understand priorities, dependencies, and operational risks
Support change and release activities, including readiness validation, rollout planning, risk assessment, and fallback considerations
Review work at handoff to ensure releases are complete, supportable, and ready to run in production
Translate incidents, defects, and recurring support issues into backlog improvements that reduce risk and improve stability
Coordinate post-release and early-life support activities to confirm systems are stable and ownership is clear
Use production insights from incidents, monitoring, and release outcomes to guide prioritization and decision-making
Support validation planning for complex changes, ensuring acceptance criteria are clear, testable, and aligned to real-world usage
Help define how changes move through environments, including release traceability, promotion, and support handoff
Position Requirements:
Proven ability to support system changes in production environments, including release readiness, issue follow-up, and maintaining stable operational outcomes.
3-5 years of BSA experience in enterprise environments, including involvement in release activities, production support, and operational coordination
Strong understanding of production support, change and release processes, incident/problem management, and operational readiness
Ability to write clear, testable requirements, including acceptance criteria, validation expectations, and support considerations
Experience conducting impact analysis across systems, data flows, and business processes
Experience working within delivery teams using Agile or iterative approaches, while supporting operational timelines and release cycles
Practical use of SQL or similar tools to support investigation, validation, and data-driven analysis
Hands-on use of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow/HPSM, or similar to track work, support releases, and manage issues
Ability to clearly communicate technical constraints, risks, and release expectations to business and delivery teams
Proven ability to facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and move work forward across teams with minimal supervision
Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, platform-based environments, or container platforms, where supporting release readiness and operational fit is required
