Job Description

Fleetway is seeking a qualified Intermediate Data Analyst to join our Technical Publications team, which is leading the development of cutting-edge documentation for the next generation of Royal Canadian Navy ships. We offer a modern, collaborative environment that leverages advanced technology to produce high-quality technical publications.

As an Intermediate Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Irving Shipbuilding’s strategic goals and operational efficiency by analyzing data, identifying business needs, and recommending actionable solutions. This position is central to the development and delivery of the Technical Data Package (TDP) for the River Class Destroyer Program.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate and maintain TDP deliverables, metrics, and dashboards. Your insights will help stakeholders and leadership make informed decisions at both project and management levels.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze data to support the development and delivery of Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
  • Maintain dashboards and reports to track project progress and performance.
  • Support project planning, testing, and change management activities.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance standards and organizational goals.

Education

  • A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and disciplines
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic project environment
