Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and process interline and cartage invoice for payment
• Review amount being invoiced vs amount set up for discrepancies
• Work with Rate Audit on discrepancies to ensure proper payment
• Send payments amounts to Accounts Payable for cheque printing
• Mail cheques and filing of back up
• Work with interline carriers and Rate Audit on balance dues (email & phone)
• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure receivable accounts are caught up before mailing payable money
• This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday Day shift

Qualifications

• Key boarding and some knowledge of computers
• The ability to meet deadlines with speed and accuracy
• Collections experience is an asset
• Competent math skills
• Proficient communication skills, written and verbal
