Job Summary

Oversees daily operations and staff within the interior department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service. Manages scheduling, training, and performance of team members, addresses customer concerns, and coordinates with other departments to maintain smooth operations. Implements company policies and safety standards to enhance productivity and maintain a positive work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must adhere to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Prepares/adjusts work schedules and conducts employee evaluations. Assists in hiring, counseling and establishing training programs for interior personnel.
• Recommends adjustment to Interior policies and services to more effectively service the facility.
• Resolves non-routine problem situations and performs special projects as assigned.
• Conducts detailed inspections to ensure adherence to departmental policies and to identify problems.
• Ensures payroll is entered and completed timely and accurately and in accordance with company/department payroll policies.
• Must maintain certification for use of all departmental equipment.
• Must possess proven leadership ability necessary to provide guidance to subordinate supervisors and front-line personnel.
• Must possess experience in creating short term development goals.
• Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills necessary to resolve potential problem situations and ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of MPGE's policies, procedures and operations.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Participates as a panel member on MPGE's Board of Review as needed.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required and Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three (3) to five (5) years previous casino area cleaning supervisory experience required.

Language Skills

• Must speak, write and read English.

Supervisory Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5) years previous casino area cleaning supervisory experience required.
