Job Description

OF THE ROLE

Jotun Egypt is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Interior Designer to support in the design, development, and execution of retail store concepts. You will be responsible for creating appealing store environments that reflect brand standards, enhance the customer experience, and support business objectives. This role involves design development, site supervision, stakeholder coordination, and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of retail projects from concept to completion.

This position will be based at our Head office in New Cairo and will be reporting to the Retail Development Supervisor.

  • Design and implement interior concepts for new and existing retail stores in line with brand standards.

  • Prepare 2D layouts, 3D designs, and technical drawings, including lighting, flooring, furniture, and material specifications.

  • Ensure branding, signage, and marketing elements are properly integrated into store layouts.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality, ensure compliance with design standards, and identify maintenance or improvement needs.

  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during fit-outs to ensure designs are executed as approved.

  • Act as the main contact for sales teams and shop owners, providing support on store layouts, space optimization, design approvals, and project timelines.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Fine Arts (Interior Design major).

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in interior design, with a strong focus on retail environments, commercial spaces, or visual merchandising.

  • Solid experience handling the technicalities of fit-outs, materials, and joinery details.
