Upscale is one of Switzerland’s leading platforms for interior architecture and project implementation. We create tailored residential and office concepts for demanding clients and manage the entire project process — from the first idea to the final installation.

Through our platform, clients are matched with the designer who best fits their style, project scope, and personality. The matching is based on style analysis, project specifications, and the experience of our interior designers. Once the concept is developed, clients can order furniture and accessories online or offline, and we coordinate procurement and installation.

Tasks

Your Tasks

As an Interior Designer at Upscale, you will take ownership of projects and guide clients through the entire design journey.

Your responsibilities include:

• Independent project management and client advisory for private residential and office projects
• Concept development and execution planning for interiors, layouts and furnishings
• Budget, timeline and quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Coordination with specialist planners, authorities, contractors and craftsmen
• Supervising implementation until project completion and warranty follow-ups
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes, supplier network and product selection
• Supporting Upscale’s growth through market insights and client feedback

You will work closely with our Zurich team while developing projects in Geneva, Lausanne and the surrounding french speaking region

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

You have a strong sense for your clients’ needs and are able to translate them into thoughtful and convincing design concepts — whether for a private home or a flexible modern workspace.

Your profile:

• Degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture (BSc / MSc or equivalent FH / ETH / TU / USI)
• Alternatively: qualified architectural drafter (Hochbauzeichner/in) with strong interior design experience
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD (essential), Nano Banana Pro
• Familiarity with leading European furniture brands, manufacturers and designers for residential and/or office environments
• Experience in construction supervision or interior fit-out execution
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Confident communication and problem-solving abilities
• Motivated, resilient and structured with a strong attention to detail

Languages:

• Fluent French (essential)
• English or German for collaboration with the Zurich team
• Italian is a plus

Requirements:

• Valid Swiss work permit (B or C)
• Student visas unfortunately cannot be considered.
