Position: Interior Designer

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our client's team in Dublin, Ireland. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for our clients. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that the design meets their needs and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients to determine their design preferences, budget, and timeline

- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval

- Create detailed drawings and specifications for the design, including floor plans, color schemes, and furniture layouts

- Select materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the design is feasible and meets building codes and regulations

- Oversee the installation and implementation of the design, making any necessary adjustments or changes

- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to provide clients with the latest design options

- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to source materials and furnishings at competitive prices

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive relationship with clients throughout the design process and beyond.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a commercial or residential setting

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations

- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
