As an Interior Designer on the Project Delivery Services (PDS) team, you will support the planning, design, and execution of workplace interior projects for corporate clients across various sectors. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and client stakeholders to deliver functional, aesthetically compelling, and code-compliant interior environments that align with brand identity, user experience, and sustainability goals.

This role requires strong technical design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced, deadline-driven project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop space plans, furniture layouts, finish palettes, lighting concepts, and interior elevations in alignment with client briefs and brand standards.
  • Prepare and coordinate interior design documentation, including FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications, finish schedules, and material submittals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of interior design with architecture, MEP systems, and technology infrastructure.
  • Conduct site verifications and as-built surveys to inform design development.
  • Support procurement coordination by assisting in vendor selection, sample reviews, and installation oversight.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, accessibility standards (e.g., ADA), life safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines (e.g., LEED, WELL).
  • Participate in client presentations, design charrettes, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Utilize BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality design deliverables.
  • Track project budgets and timelines in coordination with project managers.
  • Maintain organized digital project files and version control per JLL standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in commercial, corporate, or workplace environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design principles.
  • Experience working on projects from concept through construction administration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving client needs.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred (or actively pursuing).
  • LEED AP or WELL AP accreditation is a plus.
