Interior Designer, Paarden Eiland

R15,000-R20,000 CTC

A high-end Cape Town-based design house specialising in bespoke joinery and full-service interior projects from kitchens and built-in cupboards to bars, custom furniture, and full interior fit-outs. We deliver concept, design, manufacturing, and installation, paying careful attention to craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Attributes

Bachelor's degree in interior design, Interior Architecture, or comparable qualification.

Minimum of ~3-5 years of practical experience in interior design, ideally with exposure to residential or bespoke cabinetry/joinery design.

Proficient in AutoCAD, capable of producing accurate technical drawings for cabinetry, furniture, floor plans, elevations, and detailed joinery specs.

Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture/joinery design, especially cabinetry and built-in furniture.

Excellent creative and aesthetic sense, with solid design intuition and ability to translate client vision into functional, elegant design solutions.

Good verbal and written communication skills, able to present designs clearly to clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Organization, attention to detail, and project management discipline, able to handle multiple tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines.

Ability to collaborate with manufacturing/joinery teams, contractors, and installers; and to oversee project execution where required.
