Job Purpose
The Interior Design Manager will oversee all interior design and decor initiatives from concept to final execution. This role requires a unique blend of creative excellence, team leadership, and sharp project management. You will be responsible for managing design teams, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring that all interior spaces meet Company 's high-quality standards, budget requirements, and timelines.
Responsibilities
Lead Interior Design Team
- Lead, guide, and manage interior designers, draftsmen, 3D visualizers, and decorators.
- Assign tasks, review design work, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Improve design quality, team performance, and working standards.
- Provide creative direction for Classic, Neoclassical, Modern, and luxury villa interior styles.
Design Concept & Client Presentation
- Meet customers to understand their requirements, lifestyle, budget, design style, and expectations.
- Prepare and review layout plans, mood boards, material selections, furniture ideas, and 3D perspectives.
- Present design concepts clearly and professionally to customers
- Handle customer feedback and revise designs when required.
- Support the sales process by explaining design value and helping close deals with customers.
BOQ, Quotation & Pricing Support
- Prepare and review BOQ details for interior design, fit-out works, built-in furniture, loose furniture, decoration, lighting, materials, and finishes.
- Work with the QS, Procurement Team, Workshop Team, and Management to prepare accurate quotation pricing.
- Ensure design proposals match the customer's budget and company profit target.
- Suggest alternative materials or design solutions when needed to control cost while maintaining quality.
- Make sure all approved design items are clearly included in the quotation before submission to customers.
- Project Coordination & Site Support
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, site teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Work closely with the Workshop Team for built-in furniture, custom cabinets, woodwork, decorative panels, material samples, and production details.
- Work with the Site Fit-Out Manager to ensure site works follow approved drawings, materials, design details, quality standards, and timeline.
- Review shop drawings, furniture details, installation drawings, and material samples before production or installation.
- Conduct site visits to check work quality, solve design issues, and ensure the final result matches the approved design.
- Support project handover by checking finishing quality and preparing defect lists when required.
Marketing & Design Content Support
- Work with the Marketing Team to create project videos, video ads, design content, before-and-after content, and portfolio materials.
- Provide creative direction for interior visuals to ensure KH LAND projects are presented professionally and attractively.
- Support marketing campaigns by sharing design ideas, project highlights, and completed work references.
Other Responsibilities
- Keep updated with interior design trends, materials, furniture, lighting, decoration, and market pricing.
- Maintain organized design documents, drawings, BOQ files, and project records.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in interior design, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or supervisory level
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, Sketchup V-ray Render, Enscape
- A strong, proven portfolio showcasing successfully completed residential with a heavy focus on high-end decor and styling.
