Our client, a growing luxury interior design and construction company in Riyadh, is seeking an Interior Design Engineer to turn client ambitions into thoughtfully designed, carefully executed interiors.

In this role, you’ll connect creative direction with practical delivery. Working closely with clients, design teams, contractors, and suppliers, you’ll help ensure that finished spaces reflect the approved vision while meeting functional requirements and project timelines.

Requirements

What You’ll Own

You’ll take an active role across the design and execution journey, with responsibilities that extend beyond the drawing board.

• Translate client ambitions into a clear design direction. Develop mood boards, color schemes, and material palettes that balance aesthetic preferences with the practical needs of each space. Create photorealistic visualizations using 3ds Max with V-Ray or Corona to help clients understand and confidently approve the concept.
• Turn approved concepts into buildable details. Produce accurate Revit and AutoCAD execution drawings, architectural layouts, joinery details, and finishing specifications that give execution teams clear guidance.
• Bring the right materials into the finished space. Source and evaluate materials, select and approve samples, coordinate with suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage delivery schedules to support project progress.
• Protect design quality on-site. Conduct regular visits during finishing stages, review work against approved drawings, and collaborate with contractors to resolve discrepancies and practical challenges.
• Keep clients informed and projects moving. Lead design presentations, explain recommendations clearly, communicate progress, and address design questions as they arise throughout execution.

What Makes You Successful

• You’re a designer who cares as much about how a space is built as how it looks. You can move confidently between creative exploration, technical documentation, and on-site problem-solving without losing sight of the client’s priorities.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architectural Engineering, supported by proven experience in both concept development and on-site finishing supervision.
• Your technical capabilities include strong proficiency in 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop, alongside a sound understanding of materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), joinery, and interior construction details. Additional skills in SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray are an advantage.
• You understand the Saudi design, construction, events, and luxury projects market. Just as importantly, you communicate effectively, handle client requirements thoughtfully, and coordinate multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Your portfolio should tell the complete project story: initial concepts, 3D renders, execution drawings, and photographs of completed spaces.
