Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a design-led studio specialising in hospitality, interior, and commercial environments, delivering projects from concept through to execution. The team works across design development, project coordination, technical documentation, and fit-out delivery, creating highly considered spaces that balance functionality, aesthetics, and customer experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Interior Design Draftsperson / ArchiCAD Designer to support the delivery of interior and hospitality projects from concept through documentation.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drafting ability, excellent ArchiCAD proficiency, and a sharp eye for interior detailing. You’ll work closely with the design team to produce accurate documentation, assist with project coordination, and help bring design concepts into buildable, well-documented outcomes.

The ideal candidate understands hospitality and interior environments, can work independently, and is confident operating within a fast-paced studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and manage detailed technical drawings and documentation using ArchiCAD across all project stages (Concept, CDC, DA/CC, Tender, Construction)
  • Develop and maintain drawing sets for commercial fitout and interior architecture projects, including plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules
  • Ensure drawings comply with Australian Standards with a strong knowledge of commercial kitchen compliance
  • Coordinate and cross-reference consultant documentation (structural, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, BCA) to ensure integration and accuracy across the drawing set
  • Prepare and issue drawing registers, transmittals, and revision tracking in line with studio standards
  • Review drawings for compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), relevant Australian Standards, and local authority requirements
  • Liaise with the design team to translate design intent into construction-ready documentation
  • Manage and maintain ArchiCAD project files, layer structures, and templates in accordance with studio protocols
  • Identify documentation gaps, coordination issues, and constructability concerns, raising these proactively with the project team
  • Assist in maintaining and improving studio drawing standards, templates, and CAD/BIM protocols

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting within a commercial, fitout, or interior architecture context
  • Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD
  • Demonstrated ability to produce complete, coordinated construction documentation sets independently
  • Thorough working knowledge of the NCC/BCA and relevant Australian Standards as they apply to commercial hospitality interiors and fitout
  • Experience coordinating documentation with structural, services, and façade consultants
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to drawing management and version control
  • Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, Architecture, or equivalent
  • Strong english

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with BIMcloud or other model-sharing environments
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (for consultant file coordination)
  • Experience preparing DA and CC documentation for commercial projects

Why Join

  • Work on high-end interior and hospitality projects
  • Join a growing and collaborative design-focused team
  • Long-term opportunity with a stable offshore structure
  • Exposure to modern workflows, systems, and evolving technology integration
  • Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to project delivery and studio operations
