This is a strategic execution leadership assignment designed for senior executives with experience leading regional businesses, transformation initiatives, and strategy execution within multinational organizations.
This assignment is designed for a seasoned executive who has previously operated at a Senior Business Leader level within a multinational organisation and is now pursuing a portfolio or interim executive career.
The executive will work alongside the regional leadership team to translate strategy into execution, support country General Managers, drive business transformation initiatives, and improve organisational execution capability.
This is a highly hands-on role requiring an executive who enjoys working closely with leadership teams to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Business Performance
Partner with the Regional Leadership Team to accelerate the execution of strategic priorities across Southeast Asia.
Translate strategic objectives into actionable execution plans with clear milestones, governance, accountability, and measurable business outcomes.
Monitor progress against strategic initiatives, identify execution risks, and proactively remove barriers to delivery.
Ensure strong alignment between regional priorities and country-level execution while driving sustainable business performance.
Leadership Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Regional Leaders and Country General Managers, enabling effective execution across the region.
Facilitate executive discussions that translate strategic decisions into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
Build alignment across commercial, functional, and country leadership teams.
Business Transformation & Organizational Excellence
Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, governance, and execution discipline.
Strengthen governance frameworks, operating cadence, and execution excellence.
Support change management initiatives that enable sustainable business transformation.
Strategic Programme Leadership
Lead and oversee multiple high-impact strategic programmes across Southeast Asia.
Coordinate stakeholders across commercial, operations, finance, supply chain, marketing, HR, and other business functions.
Establish robust programme governance, reporting frameworks, and performance reviews to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure initiatives remain aligned with regional business priorities and strategic objectives.
Commercial & Operational Enablement
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for growth, operational improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Help leadership teams prioritize initiatives that deliver the greatest commercial and customer value.
Improve execution capability across regional and country teams by strengthening planning, collaboration, and accountability.
Contribute to sustainable business growth by enabling leadership teams to execute strategic priorities effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful executive will bring:
20+ years of progressive leadership experience within multinational organizations.
Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level leadership roles with responsibility for business strategy, execution, and transformation.
Proven success leading strategy execution, business transformation, organizational change, and cross-functional initiatives.
Experience supporting regional or multi-country operations across Southeast Asia.
Strong commercial, operational, and cross-functional leadership capability.
Experience working within complex, matrixed multinational organizations.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver results through collaboration rather than formal authority.
