At Miele, we have been setting the standard for premium home appliances since 1899. Guided by our philosophy of Immer Besser – Forever Better – we continuously strive to improve our products, our customer experiences and the way we work.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Interim National Account Manager for our Ecommerce team to join us for an exciting six-month opportunity. This is more than an account management role. You will play a key part in revitalising and strengthening our ecommerce operations, building successful partnerships with some of Britain's largest retailers. Working closely with our Head of Key Accounts and wider commercial teams, you will bring fresh thinking, commercial expertise and a proactive approach to improving performance across our online retail partnerships.

If you thrive on turning commercial challenges into opportunities, building influential relationships and delivering meaningful results, we would love to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with the Head of Key Accounts and wider commercial teams, lead and strengthen relationships with major ecommerce retailers to drive profitable growth and improve account performance
  • Through effective account planning and commercial negotiations, deliver agreed sales, volume and margin targets while identifying new business opportunities
  • Working alongside our Marketing and Product teams, develop and deliver promotional campaigns, product launches and online retail initiatives that strengthen our brand presence and maximise sales
  • Using commercial insights and financial analysis, prepare accurate sales forecasts, manage account budgets and develop business plans that support sustainable growth
  • Through regular performance reviews and competitor analysis, identify opportunities to improve online product visibility, customer journeys and sales performance
  • In partnership with key retail stakeholders, lead product range reviews, strengthen product distribution and develop solutions that meet customer and business needs

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience managing major ecommerce retail accounts or large-scale online sales operations, ideally with retailers such as Amazon, AO, Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Ocado or similar
  • A proven track record of delivering commercial growth through national account management within a recognised consumer brand, ideally in the premium sector
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing sales forecasts, account profitability, budgets and promotional investment
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and develop successful retail partnerships
  • A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities, overcome commercial challenges and deliver results
  • Strong organisational and collaborative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work across departments and make a meaningful impact within a short timeframe

What We Offer

  • A salary of up to £60,000 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package
  • Extensive discounts on Miele products for yourself, family and friends
  • Discounted gym membership and a subsidised onsite café or lunch allowance
  • An extensive health cash plan and free eye tests
  • Additional benefits including financial advice, employee recognition schemes and more
  • Hybrid working options, offering flexibility alongside collaboration with our teams in Abingdon
