Join us as an Interim Intake Mental Health Counselor!

Monday-Friday - 7:00AM - 3:30PM - No Weekends

The Interim Intake Mental Health Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Intake and Chief Admissions Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu on intake waiting room. The role involves conducting safety checks, patient monitoring, de-escalating acute situations, and providing supportive interactions with patients.

Successful candidates will have:

• High school diploma.

• Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record required; experience with Electronic Health Record.

• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Previous experience in psychiatric or substance inpatient, restraint reduction de-escalation, and crisis intervention is preferred.

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.

$20.11 - $24.00
