Interim Hospital Pharmacist

Location Forrest City, AR
Compensation $75-85/hr

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for an interim hospital assignment in the Forrest City, AR area. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the chance to support a community-focused acute care hospital while working alongside an experienced pharmacy team.

Assignment Details

• Start ASAP
• Duration 2+ months, with potential to extend until a permanent hire is made
• Schedule 2–3 days per week
• Hours Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:30pm, Friday 8:00am–1:00pm
• Days of coverage can be coordinated directly with pharmacy leadership

Requirements

• Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• IV compounding experience preferred
• Experience with Medhost preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Order verification and clinical review
• Sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed
• Oversight and support of pharmacy technicians
• Medication dispensing and distribution
• Support daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance

Credentialing Requirements

• Background check
• Drug screen
• MMR vaccination or titer
• Varicella vaccination or titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
• TB testing
• COVID documentation
• CPR or ACLS certification
• Additional site onboarding requirements may apply
