NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Interim Head of Marketing (12-month) to join APAC team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Hong Kong Office

Reporting into: President, APAC

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing and driving overall brand awareness and deliver revenue and customers targets for APAC region

  • Driving annual strategic marketing plan and marketing KPIs for key markets, Hong Kong, Australia and rest of APAC, from strategy to implementation

  • Monitoring all marketing channels including Paid media (Display, paid search, paid social, re-marketing), Affiliates, CRM, social media, partnership, and events

  • Constant collaboration with central team on the above channels to drive maximum performance with local insights and support

  • Adapting global campaign and lead local campaigns based on regional retail calendar and seasonality

  • Driving high net-worth customer acquisition and incremental sales via strategic, marketing leading partnership at scale

  • Partnering with PR, Client Relations and Personal Shopping Team to create bespoke activation and events for acquire and retain HNWI

  • Being the brand representative in-market to participate and represent in brand partner events and develop strong local network

  • Identifying market insights, competitive intelligence and business opportunities

  • Building relationship with regional external partners and drive influencer strategy in APAC locally

  • Support in localization expansion for APAC key markets (incl. identifying site-experience, customer journey barriers; working with related team to improve overall customer experience, content, pricing, currency, taxes & duties, payment, help, shipping & delivery and service offerings)

  • Global and regional travels annually for HQ strategy meetings and market visits in key cities

The type of person we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience ideally gained in a luxury, fashion and/or online retail environment

  • Proven track record with digital marketing, partnerships, social media and events

  • Proven retail, luxury, and designer fashion experience with passion for the industry

  • Experience in managing a diverse team with different skillset and culture backgrounds

  • Creative and strategic thinker with good analytical skill

  • Motivational leader and always willing to go the extra mile

  • Can think and operate holistically across the complete spectrum of brand and digital marketing

  • Able to turn granular analysis of digital data into appropriate and executable strategies

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines while not compromising quality of work, ability to adjust changes in priorities and balance short term needs with long-term initiatives

  • Extremely well organized in planning with methodical, and efficient delegation of work within the team with a good dose of common sense, humour and initiative

  • Strong budget and project management skill with excellent attention to detail

  • Collaborative mind-set, comfortable with managing projects across time zones and collaborating with different departments and teams across the business

  • Great communication skills both written and verbal, confident presenter

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
