This is a remote position.


Superlanet is seeking an Interim Epic Ambulatory Manager for our well-known healthcare client in Northern California. This is a 6 month contract opportunity, primarily remote, with onsite travel required.


We are looking for a strong operational leader to support our client's Ambulatory Clinical Applications team for approximately six months. This team primarily manages non-Epic applications, and the ideal candidate will bring experience bridging those systems with Epic while providing strong leadership across operations and vendor management.


What You’ll Do


  • Provide interim leadership for the Ambulatory Clinical Applications team, ensuring continuity of operations and delivery

  • Oversee and optimize a portfolio of non-Epic ambulatory applications, ensuring alignment with Epic workflows

  • Drive integration efforts between Epic and third-party systems (interfaces, data exchange, and workflow alignment)

  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, including performance oversight, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment

  • Support contract review, SaaS agreements, and vendor negotiations

  • Assess current-state environment and quickly establish structure, priorities, and execution plans

  • Partner with clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders to align on strategy and operational improvements

  • Lead day-to-day team operations while contributing to longer-term optimization initiatives


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven experience managing Ambulatory Clinical Applications teams, particularly in environments with significant non-Epic systems

  • Strong background in vendor management, including working with multiple third-party application providers

  • Experience integrating non-Epic applications with Epic (interfaces, interoperability, workflows, and data exchange)

  • Solid understanding of contracting, SaaS agreements, and vendor negotiations

  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, technical, and executive audiences

  • Ability to quickly assess, stabilize, and optimize a complex application ecosystem


Benefits


Pay rate based on experience $90.00 - 110.00/hr+
