Job Description

Job Purpose
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving sales, managing daily boutique operations, and leading a high-performing team. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring an exceptional luxury shopping experience for both local clients and international visitors in Prague. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the boutique's performance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Clientelling
  • Drive KPI Performance Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets, conversion rates, Average Unit Retail (AUR), and Units Per Transaction (UPT).
  • Luxury Client Experience Maintain a high level of customer service on the sales floor, demonstrating deep product knowledge of footwear, handbags, and accessories.
  • CRM Management Cultivate strong relationships with local VIP clients and build a loyal customer database through personalized outreach and clientelling strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Staff Coaching Motivate, mentor, and coach Sales Associates to achieve their individual sales targets and develop their skills.
  • Performance Monitoring Assist in setting daily goals, conducting performance reviews, and managing team schedules.
  • Onboarding Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members, embedding the Jimmy Choo brand culture.
Operations & Visual Merchandising
  • Boutique Operations Oversee daily opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and stockroom organization.
  • Loss Prevention Implement strict inventory controls to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance with luxury retail standards.
  • Visual Standards Ensure the boutique complies with global Jimmy Choo visual merchandising guidelines, maintaining a pristine environment on the prestigious Pařížská street.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within luxury retail or premium fashion.
  • Language Skills Fluent in English and Czech is required (both written and spoken) to communicate with regional management and local clientele. Additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, or Russian) are a strong advantage for foreign tourists.
  • Skills Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills (ability to understand retail KPIs).
  • Flexibility Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, according to premium retail opening hours.
