Job Description

At Transgrid, we connect electricity across NSW and the National Electricity Market, supporting Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future. The Hunter Transmission Project (HTP) is a critical initiative delivering new transmission infrastructure to unlock renewable energy zones, strengthen network reliability, and support long-term energy security. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a complex, large-scale project shaping the future of Australia’s energy network.

About the Role

The Interface / Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring coordinated, compliant, and technically robust delivery of interface and asset management activities across the Hunter Transmission Project Delivery Phase. The role leads the integration of technical, operational, and commercial interfaces across stakeholders, contractors, and delivery teams, ensuring project frameworks, governance requirements, and technical standards are effectively implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project management, engineering, delivery, commercial, and external stakeholders, you will drive interface management, operational integration, risk coordination, compliance, and asset management activities across transmission line and substation delivery scopes. The role also supports commissioning, project close out, and technical assurance activities across a complex major infrastructure environment.

About You

  • Extensive experience managing technical interfaces, asset management, or operational integration activities within major infrastructure, utilities, transmission, or large-scale project environments
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks, governance, technical assurance, risk management, compliance, and operational coordination across complex delivery programs
  • Demonstrated capability coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and external agencies across technical and commercial project interfaces
  • Experience interpreting and delivering against technical, operational, and commercial requirements within large-scale infrastructure or D&C contract environments
  • Stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing technical, operational, and commercial requirements across complex infrastructure delivery environments.
