Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Interface Manager to join our team! The Interface Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating interfaces between various stakeholders, disciplines, and systems to ensure seamless integration and communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves identifying, monitoring, and resolving interface issues to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related matters between internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement an interface management plan to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Identify and document all interface points between systems, disciplines, and stakeholders.
Monitor and track interface issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
Facilitate regular meetings and workshops to discuss interface requirements, progress, and challenges.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation.
Maintain accurate records of interface agreements, decisions, and changes.
Prepare and present interface status reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
Identify potential interface risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure technical compatibility of systems and components.
Review and approve interface documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve interface management processes and tools.
Provide lessons learned and recommendations for future projects.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in interface management, project coordination, or a related role.
Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Strong understanding of interface management principles, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
