The Intelligence Warehouse Systems Analyst supports enterprise automation and continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current-state processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, and assisting in the execution of automation and system integration projects. This role leverages Lean principles, operational analysis, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making across the network. Key Responsibilities and Duties 1. Automation (40%) · Support identification of automation opportunities across operations. · Assist in developing business cases. (labor savings, efficiency gains, and ROI) · Assist in deploying automation solutions. (equipment, workflows, and process improvements) · Develop or update standard operating procedures and work instructions impacted by automation. · Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support implementation and troubleshooting. · Assist with testing, validation, and post-launch performance tracking of automation solutions. · Support continuous improvement efforts post-launch to ensure sustained results. 2. System Integration (40%) · Develop understanding of integration between operational systems. (WMS, AMOS, Programs) · Document system workflows, data flows, and process interactions. · Assist in translating business processes into system requirements. (BRDs) · Support integration testing, validation, and issue resolution. · Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendors to ensure systems align with business needs. · Assist in evaluating digital solutions, including AI tools and emerging technologies. · Maintain documentation for system logic, integrations, and operational processes. 3. Operations Process & Data Analysis (20%) · Develop strong understanding of warehouse operations, layouts, and material flow. · Collect, validate, and interpret operational data to support improvement initiatives. · Analyze business processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify inefficiencies. · Leverage Lean methodologies (e.g., PDCA, root cause analysis, waste elimination) to evaluate and improve operational workflows and facility layouts. · Develop process flow maps (current vs. future state) and identify automation opportunities. · Perform wave planning analysis, including volume balancing and labor/asset allocations. · Evaluate and improve carrier routing strategies in partnership with Transportation, ensuring efficient outbound flow. · Support documentation of workflows, business requirements, and system interactions. · Monitor and support reporting of project timelines, activities, and deliverables. · Perform any other tasks requested by management. Required Qualifications Education Requirements Experience Requirements Work Schedule/Travel · Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land/air. · May require periodic meetings or communications outside standard business hours.
