Leidos has an immediate opening for an Intelligence Exercise Planner at Nellis AFB, Nevada, supporting high‑visibility Air Force and Joint training events.

What You’ll Do

As an Exercise Planner, you will represent and advocate for intelligence exercise requirements across ACC and Joint venues. You will provide planning, technical, and programmatic support to scheduled and ad hoc training, test, and readiness events. Your work will directly shape the design and execution of live, live‑virtual, and virtual exercise environments that integrate current and emerging TTPs and technologies.

You will:

  • Design and deliver intelligence‑driven exercise environments and scenarios.
  • Represent intelligence equities in Joint and Service exercise planning processes.
  • Plan, administer, and participate in meetings, working groups, and exercise planning forums.
  • Translate desired learning objectives into executable training opportunities within larger exercise constructs.
  • Communicate intelligence training requirements to diverse operational audiences across multiple domains.
  • Apply deep knowledge of USAF intelligence support, operations, and exercise planning across air, space, and cyber.
  • Support Fighter Wing/Squadron operations and demonstrate familiarity with ACE, AEUs, CRGs, or similar mission sets.
  • Provide expertise in SIGINT, GEOINT, Multi‑INT, targeting, and analysis tradecraft.
  • Support occasional shift work during major exercise events.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience conducting analysis relevant to this position, with at least 2 years recent experience.
  • Experience supporting USAF operations or DoD aviation.
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Demonstrated mastery of USAF intelligence operations and Joint/Service exercise planning.
  • Knowledge of intelligence collection processes.
  • Experience supporting Fighter Wing/Squadron operations.
  • Familiarity with ACE, AEUs, CRGs, or similar mission sets.
  • Expertise in SIGINT, GEOINT, Multi‑INT, targeting, and analysis mission systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating across the U.S. intelligence and aviation communities.
  • Direct experience supporting Large Force Employment exercises (RED FLAG, WSI, Agile Flag, etc.), with emphasis on RED FLAG
  • Experience with National Collection Management and SIGINT Collection Management.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
