Job Description

Position Summary

The Intelligence Analyst Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of embedded intelligence analysts supporting a global entertainment company. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality intelligence products, supports operational response activities, coordinates analyst workflows, and promotes adherence to established processes and standards. This position serves as the primary operational leader for the analyst team, providing guidance, coaching, and quality assurance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and evolving client intelligence requirements.

The Intelligence Analyst Team Lead works closely with the Program Manager, client stakeholders, and intelligence personnel to ensure operational excellence, effective service delivery, and the timely production of actionable intelligence that supports the safety, security, and business interests of the client. The role requires strong analytical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to lead teams effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of embedded intelligence analysts and support the effective execution of operational objectives.
  • Coordinate, assign, and prioritize analyst workloads to ensure the timely delivery of intelligence products, assessments, alerts, briefings, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging threats, incidents, geopolitical developments, and operational issues that may affect client personnel, assets, operations, or interests, providing guidance and direction to analysts as appropriate.
  • Review intelligence products and analytical deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment with client requirements and established standards.
  • Assist in the coordination of incident response and crisis management activities, ensuring appropriate intelligence support during evolving situations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to analysts while supporting team development, training, and operational readiness.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, workflows, operational documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, operational reviews, and working groups to support client requirements and program objectives.
  • Identify and escalate operational risks, performance concerns, resource constraints, and emerging challenges to the Program Manager as appropriate.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture centered on communication, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to guide, support, and develop analysts in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate intelligence findings and operational updates to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities, including experience assessing complex security, intelligence, or risk-related information.
  • Ability to review and evaluate intelligence products for accuracy, quality, consistency, and actionable value.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate workloads, and support multiple operational requirements simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify operational challenges, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of geopolitical developments, security threats, risk trends, and intelligence collection and analysis methodologies relevant to corporate security operations.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or a relevant field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as global security, intelligence, research and analysis, crisis response or in a security operations center.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing analytical products and supporting operational decision-making within a security or intelligence environment.
  • Experience working in a client-facing, embedded, consulting, corporate security, intelligence, risk management, or operational support environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams or global operations preferred.
  • Foreign language proficiency a plus.
