CoreCivic is currently seeking an Intelligence Analyst, Corrections located at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. This position requires frequent travel, and 4 days per week in our office in Brentwood TN when not traveling. The Intelligence Analyst researches, identifies, analyzes and manages actionable intelligence from CoreCivic databanks and other sources, including but not limited to, the forensic telephone analysis lab.Identifies investigative intelligence indicators, provides investigative leads, requests data to substantiate or verify information, suggests alternative avenue of investigation, and researches information for use in responding to collateral requests.Performs analyses of raw data queried from various sources in support of investigative operations.Supports the maintenance of computerized intelligence databases to generate reports. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements. Qualifications: ·Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. ·Two years of experience in criminal justice, information technology, or statistical analysis, with one year of experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, is required. Additional related work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. ·Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the practices and principles of security management, corrections laws, rules, and regulations. ·Frequent travel is required. ·Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. ·A valid driver’s license is required.
