What You Will Do

• Support federal court IP litigation, focusing on patent and trademark matters from initial case assessment to trial preparation.
• Take ownership of written advocacy, including drafting motions, discovery briefs, and providing claim construction support.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute effective case strategies while managing critical deadlines.
• Conduct thorough discovery and fact development, including managing written discovery, document review, and preparing for depositions.
• Lead discrete workstreams on active cases, demonstrating increasing autonomy and responsibility as cases progress.
• Engage with the broader IP platform to address intersections with licensing, commercialization, and privacy issues.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1-8 years of experience in patent and/or trademark litigation.
• Strong legal writing and research skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality documents.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office suite for effective document preparation and communication.

Preferred

• Patent bar eligibility or experience with PTAB proceedings is a plus.
• Previous experience in a law firm setting with a focus on intellectual property.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage case responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits
