What You Will Do
- Support federal court IP litigation, focusing on patent and trademark matters from initial case assessment to trial preparation.
- Take ownership of written advocacy, including drafting motions, discovery briefs, and providing claim construction support.
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute effective case strategies while managing critical deadlines.
- Conduct thorough discovery and fact development, including managing written discovery, document review, and preparing for depositions.
- Lead discrete workstreams on active cases, demonstrating increasing autonomy and responsibility as cases progress.
- Engage with the broader IP platform to address intersections with licensing, commercialization, and privacy issues.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 1-8 years of experience in patent and/or trademark litigation.
- Strong legal writing and research skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality documents.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office suite for effective document preparation and communication.
Preferred
- Patent bar eligibility or experience with PTAB proceedings is a plus.
- Previous experience in a law firm setting with a focus on intellectual property.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently manage case responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
