The Defense Sector at Leidos have an opening for a Intergrated Logistics Specialist to support the Warfighter Readiness program at Fort Campbell KY. Required to develop and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for CPMod systems encompassing new and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cradle to grave intensive logistics management to support a complex, major weapon system from concept through field deployment keeping sustainment considerations at the forefront.
  • Support includes the management and interface with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, Integrated Logistics Support Management organizations and other service users at contractor facilities.
  • Life Cycle Logistics: Plan and coordinate all phases of product support, from acquisition and deployment through sustainment and disposal.
  • Maintenance Planning: Determine requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance, including necessary test equipment and tools.
  • Supply & Spares Management: Develop sparing strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and operational availability without overspending.
  • Technical Documentation: Review, create, and maintain engineering drawings, technical manuals, and logistics support data.
  • Packaging, Handling, & Transport: Define specifications for preserving, packing, handling, and safely transporting sensitive and oversized systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent logistics requirements in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) alongside design engineers, project managers, and customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university with 3 or more years of experience in military Logistics and/or equivalent training and eight (7) years' of contracting/ military Logistics experience.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Must have experience with US Army Logistics documentation and processes
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance
  • Must have prior Logistics management experience
  • Indepth knowledge of government acquisition processes, DoD/Army regulations, FAA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Must be able to explain, justify, rationalize, and defend regulatory requirements; provide direction; find solutions
  • Fielding /Management experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 10%

Pay Range:

Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
