Job Description

Step into a meaningful role within our Hospice Care Team as a Integrative Service Coordinator dedicated to supporting patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for nurses, physicians, caregivers, and loved ones, helping maintain comfort, dignity, and continuity of care.

Location:

Hospice of Cincinnati – This position will support HOC inpatient units as well as home care referrals (travel required)

Work Schedule:

  • PRN (hours vary)

Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by TriHealth and the individual department, provides coordination and direct delivery of integrative services (massage, art activity, music activity, etc.) to Hospice of Cincinnati patients and families. Works collaboratively with the staff, physicians and volunteers to advance the mission and philosophy of TriHealth and Hospice of Cincinnati. This position is responsible for recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers and students within their assigned areas of integrative practice.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Related field of study
3-4 years experience Professional Related professional or technical

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure timely fulfillment of integrative service referrals through the effective use of volunteers and by providing direct service to HOC patients and families
Ensure strong communication with HOC clinical teams and compliant documentation on the delivery of integrative services.
Work collaboratively with the volunteer services team on department initiatives and organizational strategies as identified by senior leadership
Provide ongoing education/training/experiential sessions to volunteers on activities/interventions that can be used during visits with patients.
Educate the general community about Holistic Care as part of Hospice of Cincinnati's mission through presentations, workshops, printed information and experiential sessions.

Other Job-Related Information:

Experience working with or supervising volunteers; comfortable teaching and training volunteers and providing community presentations. Willingness to self-study and develop new areas of integrative services. Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices.
