Position Purpose

Reporting into Heartland’s Accounts Payable Manager, the Integrations and Accounts Payable Specialist will provide financial, administrative and clerical services. This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Chicago offices.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Play a lead liaison role onboarding multiple new acquisitions
  • Complete new vendor paperwork for each acquisition
  • Transition financial responsibility for utilities and suppliers for multiple locations
  • Communicate between multiple teams
  • Maintain files on account status and vendor information
  • AP responsibilities for 15-20 locations
  • Research, resolve and communicate any questions from corporate or other team members
  • Responsible for credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Organize paper and electronic records
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies

Requirements/Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of AP and/or accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Experience paying for multiple locations
  • Training or experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with accounting software and accounting procedures preferred
  • Experience with SAP Concur is nice to have but not required

Pay Range

USD $45,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.
