Great things start here

Join our team of business professionals doing meaningful work in an organisation that’s ever evolving. Work with people who care and expand your career with opportunities only a diverse business can provide. With license to see things through your way, and the option to split your time between office and home, RACV is where you’ll make a difference.

About the opportunity

As the Integration Technical Lead, you'll play a key leadership role across RACV's integration ecosystem, providing deep technical expertise across MuleSoft, API-led connectivity and enterprise integration architecture. You'll lead the integration engineering capability, partnering with architects, delivery teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and resilient integration solutions that support critical member and business services.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll influence integration strategy, guide solution design, mentor engineers and help shape the future of RACV's integration platforms as we continue our cloud and digital transformation journey.

Key responsibilities include

  • Lead the design, development and support of enterprise integration solutions across MuleSoft and cloud integration platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance across API-led architecture, integration patterns and engineering standards.
  • Drive API lifecycle management, including design, deployment, monitoring, versioning and operational support.
  • Support CI/CD, automation, DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices across the integration platform.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration and production issues.
  • Partner with architects, product teams, security and delivery stakeholders to develop robust integration solutions.
  • Work closely with strategic technology partners and vendors to ensure consistent delivery outcomes and technical standards
  • Guide and mentor engineers while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Proven experience working as an Integration Leader with strong hands-on technical capability.
  • Extensive experience delivering enterprise integration solutions in complex environments.
  • Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led architecture.
  • Knowledge of Azure integration services, cloud-native integration patterns and container platforms such as AKS.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns including REST, SOAP, event-driven architecture, messaging and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience working with public-facing applications and digital platforms.
  • Exposure to CloudHub 2.0 and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture patterns will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and influencing stakeholders across multiple teams and vendors.

There’s so much on offer when you join RACV

  • A flexible, informal work environment that supports balance between work and home
  • Generous discounts on home and car insurance policies and RACV roadside care
  • RACV Club membership and great discounts across RACV resorts
  • Monthly-updated discounts from a wide range of corporate partners
