The Integration Specialistis responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingapplication and data integrations across systems, APIs, and services. This role collaborates with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, build scalable solutions, and support integration troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing andmaintainingsystem integrations and components, including but not limited to, application to application integrations, services, internal and external API, file transfer, and SQL queries.
  • Fullyparticipatein requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and the documentation of same for theapplication-applicationintegrations
  • Troubleshoot existing integrations and provide technical support to the other various IT teams to ensure correct interactions with new and existing software.
  • Coordinate directly with business users, businessanalystsand project teams to best understand and analyze business specifications
  • Design integration solutions and document the designin accordance withbest practices
  • Work to architect, design, build, and implement application integrations using third party tools, or built-in integration platforms or API’s
  • Develop andmaintainservices used in application integrations
  • Develop andmaintaindata integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front end components.
  • Write SQL code to retrieveappropriate dataas derived from requirements
  • Build reports and/or data extracts to support business analysis
  • Support development on resolving system defects, acting as liaison, and developing solutions
  • Provide technicalassistanceto troubleshoot and resolve integration errors

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • Ability tomaintaina professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Familiarity with a change management process, SDLC and testing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to design and document software integration solutions
  • In depth knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL or other RDBM languages
  • Familiarity with database tools such as SQL Developer; Integration Architecture, and best practices
  • Strong familiarity with 3rd party software integration practices and tools such asMulesoftor Jitterbit

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7years of experience in working with integration platforms
  • Prior experience working with ERP, HCM or EPM software
  • Demonstrated experience in XML, and experience with Java orNet
  • Experience in structured release & deployment best practices
  • Demonstrated development experience all levels of testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP, as well as experience writing fault-tolerant code

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning and AI
  • Experience with Palantir
  • Workday Pro certification(s) (Integrations, Reporting, Extend, Adaptive Planning etc.)
