PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

As an Senior developer – BOOMI at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using Dell BOOMI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems such as SAP, Microsoft AX, Dynamics 365, Salesforce and other ERPs/CRMs.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Design and develop integration processes using Dell BOOMI AtomSphere.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing BOOMI integrations and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
• Work closely with SAP, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and other application teams to support end-to-end integration.
• Monitor and optimize performance of BOOMI processes.
• Document integration designs, configurations, and support procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices and standards.
• Implement data transformations using Maps, Functions, Groovy scripting, and Business Rules.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:

• Bachelor / master’s degree in business, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline

• At least 5-7 years of experience in integration development, with a focus on Dell Boomi.
• Strong knowledge of BOOMI components: connectors, process shapes, atoms, and environments.
• Experience integrating with SAP, D365, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and data mapping.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and hybrid integration models.
• Good understanding of enterprise integration concepts (ETL, middleware, messaging).
• Boomi certification (Associate or Professional Developer) is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
• Strong skills in error handling, exception management, and integration troubleshooting.
• Ability to work fluidly with several technical disciplines, including program management, development, test, operations, and support.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels.

Desirable:

• Experience of working with Workato/Zappier or any other integration platform.
• Boomi certifications (Associate Integration Developer, Professional Integration Developer, etc.).
• Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Office based/Remote with occasional international travel.

• Working times are European time zone, however open to be available in APAC/US time zone as well for the need basis.
