Integration - Oracle Integration Cloud Manager

The Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant / Architect is responsible for designing, delivering, and governing enterprise integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud. The role enables organisations to integrate Oracle and non-Oracle applications across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments in a secure, scalable, and reliable manner.
Depending on experience, the role may focus on hands-on integration development and delivery (Consultant) or integration architecture, standards, and platform strategy (Architect). The role works closely with Oracle application teams, enterprise architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure integrations are robust, reusable, and aligned with enterprise and Oracle best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Delivery
- Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Build and manage integrations, lookups, packages, and adapters.
- Develop REST, SOAP, event-driven, and file-based integrations.
- Integrate Oracle SaaS applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) and non-Oracle systems.
- Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
- Configure tracking, fault handling, and retries.
Architecture & Standards (Architect Focus)
- Define OIC integration architecture and reference patterns.
- Establish integration standards, governance, and reuse models.
- Design scalable integration landscapes aligned to Oracle cloud strategy.
- Review and govern solution designs across projects.
- Ensure alignment with security, identity, and enterprise integration principles.
Operations, Monitoring & Support
- Configure monitoring, alerts, and business activity tracking.
- Support environment management, deployments, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues.
- Contribute to operational documentation and support runbooks.
Collaboration & Advisory
- Collaborate with Oracle functional teams, IT, and enterprise architects.
- Advise stakeholders on OIC capabilities, design choices, and trade-offs.
- Mentor junior consultants and developers (Senior / Architect level).
Skills, Experience and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience integrating Oracle SaaS and non-Oracle applications.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP services, adapters, and orchestration patterns.
- Understanding of Oracle cloud security and integration design principles.
- Familiarity with event-driven and API-based integration approaches.
Experience (Role Level Determination)
OIC Integration Architect
- 10–14+ years of overall IT experience.
- 7–10+ years of Oracle integration and solution architecture experience.
- Proven experience defining Oracle integration strategies in enterprise environments.
OIC Integration Consultant
- 6–8 years of overall IT experience.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Strong focus on integration delivery and implementation.
Competencies
- Systems thinking for complex integrations navigating 'complicated' to 'complex' programmes, adapts delivery approach (agile/waterfall/hybrid) and making sound decisions with potentially incomplete information.
- Delivery governance and assurance applying robust governance, quality management and change control to protect outcomes, minimising rework and manage downstream impacts.
- Stakeholder and vendor management coordinating multiple parties (client, vendors and internal streams) to maintain alignment to scope, milestones and technical standards.
- Commercial and requirements discipline clarifying scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies and Customer Furnished Items (CFIs); maintaining requirements traceability and clear 'definition of done'.
- Architecture-to-execution alignment translating vision into build-ready solution designs and practical build instructions (interfaces, data flows, controls, environments, sequencing).
- Secure-by-design mindset embedding security, privacy and access controls into integration design and delivery from day one.
- Reusable patterns and accelerators leveraging reference architectures, standards and proven assets to increase velocity and consistency.
- Operational readiness designing for run (monitoring, support model, runbooks, auditability) to ensure stable operation post go-live.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Oracle Integration Cloud Certification.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications (highly desirable).
- Oracle Solution Architecture certifications (Architect level – desirable).

Additional Requirements & Eligibility
- Right to work in the Philippines: must hold (and maintain) the appropriate visa/work authorisation for the role and assignment length.
- Hold a current passport suitable for business travel (including the ability to obtain visas as required) and be willing to travel where needed.
- Satisfy KPMG background screening and any client-specific screening requirements (which may include identity, criminal history, qualification, professional membership and other checks).
- Provide required onboarding documentation as requested by People & Inclusion.
