IRP systems is developing the next generation of high-performance electric powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market. Our customers are leading electric cars and electric motorcycles manufacturers. We are seeking a dedicated, diligent Integration Engineer in India.

Requirements

The integration engineer is the key person in technical relation between IRP and the customer. The integration engineer is involved in vehicle and system level testing, analyzing customer issues and solving them together with the IRP engineering team. The integration engineer is one of the most important links in a successful project execution and we are therefore looking for an engineer who would like to fill this role which requires both wide technical competence as well as excellent communication skills.

You’ll be responsible for the following

• Performing vehicle and system level calibration and testing activities at customer site as well as at IRP labs.

• Analysing and resolving customers’ technical issues (System, SW and HW related) - hands on, remotely and at customer site including root cause analysis.

• Verify functions according to specification, including protection functions, fault handling.

• Validate system behaviour according to customer expectations and IRP standards.

• Collaborating with R&D, sales, and product teams to ensure best technical solutions and effective bugs fixing.

• Ensure any customer issues are tracked, resolved and closed

• Preparing technical documentation and conducting training sessions for customers.

• Establishing and maintaining great customer relations.

• Develop a strong understanding of IRP’s technology and its solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Engineer in Electronics or equivalent

• Understanding of embedded electronics controllers.

• At least 4 years of experience with electronics Integration engineering

• Experienced using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and CAN analyzers..

• Able to read and analyse measurement data, information, schematics, drawings etc.

• Excellent English level

• Very good communication skills keeping the customer in focus.

• Ability to judge customer issues and when needed initiate internal job request and interact with the R&D teams to drive solution.

• Positive attitude, team player who likes problem solving

• Willingness to travel, mostly within India, but on occasions also abroad.

Advantages

• Knowledge of EV motor controllers, inverters, power electronics, diagnostics or vehicle-level integration.

• Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive suppliers.

• Familiarity with automotive problem-solving and quality tools such as 8D, RCA, FMEA, APQP or PPAP.
