The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems. This role works independently to deliver integration solutions that meet business requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of integration processes and standards. The ideal candidate has experience with APIs, databases, and cloud technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Design, develop, test, and support integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, data transformations, and automated integration processes.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration specifications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and support materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, data, and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
  • Support testing, deployment, and release activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Analyze existing integrations and recommend improvements for reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong experience working with XML, JSON, Microsoft SQL, and C#.
  • 4–7 years of software development experience, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
  • 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and implementing integration and automation solutions.
  • Experience developing Azure Logic Apps, Liquid templates, REST APIs, and event-driven integration solution.
  • Ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and work independently.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience developing integrations between enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, and Function Apps.
  • Experience developing queries, views, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs in a production environment.
  • Experience building Power Automate workflows and integrating Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of BlueCherry, KWI, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Experience participating in integration projects through the full software development lifecycle.
