Our team is engaged in designing and delivering Digital Tech Services worldwide. We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting highly regulated environments (GxP, SoX, and other regional and local regulations). Main Responsibilities:
This role is a senior technical position responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions focused on SAP IS. This includes:
Design and develop interfaces using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, SAP AEM).
Analyse of business and functional requirements to transform them into scalable, secure, and maintainable integration designs with the support of the architects.
Build, configure, test, and deploy integration flows (iFlows) following Opella development standards, architectural principles, and security guidelines.
Collaborate closely with functional SAP teams, business analysts, architects, and project teams to ensure alignment and completeness of integration solutions.
Perform impact analysis and provide expert estimates for integration development activities.
Support code reviews, technical validations, and quality checks to ensure consistency and optimal performance across all integration components.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, including message failures, mapping errors, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure proper documentation of integration flows, mappings, connection configurations, data models, and operational procedures.
Follow established release management and change control procedures to ensure safe and compliant deployments.
Support integration testing cycles, including FUT, SIT, UAT, and regression testing, contributing to test case definition and execution when necessary.
Drive continuous improvement across integration practices, contributing to automation, reusability, template creation, and shared development assets.
Contribute to observability and monitoring enhancements for SAP IS integrations, working with platform teams to improve detection and response.
Mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and foster technical excellence within the Integration Platform team.
About You:
Technical Background Required
7+ years of experience in integration development, with at least 5 years dedicated specifically to SAP Integration technologies (SAP IS(CI), SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO).
Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade interfaces across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Strong expertise in SAP IS components:
SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration)
SAP AEM
Message mappings (graphical, XSLT, Groovy)
Connectivity adapters (OData, SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, REST, JDBC, RFC)
Excellent understanding of SAP data structures, IDoc processing, BAPI/RFC interfaces, and event‑driven integrations.
Hands-on experience with authentication and security protocols (OAuth2, Basic Auth, certificates, SAML).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development workflows, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
Good understanding of network, infrastructure, and cloud concepts relevant to integration performance and connectivity.
Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, SoX) is highly desirable.
Experience integrating with ERP platforms, especially SAP S/4HANA
