About the Role


Obzervr is seeking a skilled Integration Developer to join our Integration and Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that allow disparate systems to communicate effectively, ensuring seamless data flow across our platforms. This role focuses on building robust APIs and maintaining a stable, high-performance integration environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development: Design and implement integration solutions using platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel.
  • API Management: Create and manage APIs to facilitate efficient data exchange between business systems.
  • Systems Maintenance: Configure secure connections and resolve performance bottlenecks or data inconsistencies.
  • Modern Tooling: Utilise advanced coding assistants and automation tools to refactor code and improve delivery speed.
  • Testing & Support: Conduct comprehensive stress testing and provide technical troubleshooting for complex integration issues.
  • AI Innovation: Apply prompt engineering for data mapping and use AI-driven anomaly detection to predict failure points. Establish standards for AI-generated artefacts ensuring accuracy and traceability

What You’ll Need

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience with middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) and API development (RESTful/SOAP).
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.

Obzervr's Digital Work Management Solution is a fieldwork automation and mobility platform delivers a flexible mobile App for maintainers and operators, and a web-based platform with performance dashboards for Supervisors to manage maintenance work by exception. Supervisors easily and quickly dispatch work from the work dashboard, operators and maintainers record readings, take photos through the day on work assigned to them. They can also create break-in work, record defects and assign stock to work.

On completion, exceptions can be checked by supervisors before automatically updating the ERP with monitor points, stock, photos and other data that has a home in the ERP. Automated dashboards and reports are now available to review history, check back on Maintenance strategy and tactic effectiveness, allocate spend to areas that are causing the highest maintenance overhead, and reduce the risk of machine failures due to lack of information transparency.
