OpenBlue OpenBlue: This is How a Space Comes Alive

What you will do

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support ELV and security systems, including Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), CCTV Surveillance Systems, Servers, and Building Management Systems (BMS). The candidate should have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide timely support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Access Control, CCTV, FAS, and BMS systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in security and automation systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per service schedules.
  • Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and system software related to security platforms.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime for client installations.
  • Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and provide timely resolutions.
  • Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, expansions, and migration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to end users when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in:
    • Access Control Systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
    • CCTV Surveillance Systems
    • Server Installation and Troubleshooting
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Good knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, switches, and routers.
  • Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
  • Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

  • CCTV/VMS Certifications
  • Fire Alarm System Certifications
  • BMS Vendor Certifications
  • CCNA or Networking Certifications (Preferred)
