Overview

Seeking an Integrated Product Support (IPS) Specialist in Virginia Beach, VA, to support Naval Combat Systems on large-deck amphibious ships and aircraft carriers. The IPS Specialist will develop and maintain Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) for Shipboard Systems of Systems (SSDS) and Integrated Combat Systems (ICS), incorporating approved field changes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) packages and provisioning actions through NAVSUP WSS submission
• Track technical documentation status to ensure accuracy and suitability for system supportability and sustainment
• Participate in technical documentation meetings, planning, and reviews, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), and ILS/IPS meetings
• Provide provisioning feedback via Fleet COSAL Feedback Reports (FCFBRs) or Engineering Support Requests Systems (ESRS)
• Support development, tracking, and processing of SIDs, SCDs, ECPs, and problem reports for SSDS

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent + 5+ years related experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems
• Active Secret security clearance
• Proven configuration and data management experience
• Ability to use Microsoft Teams for task tracking and communication
• Ability to coordinate with multi-site teams and manage complex documentation processes

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $90,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
