We're looking for a client-savvy, production-minded, and highly organized Integrated Producer to lead social, creator, and influencer campaigns from the first client conversation through production and delivery. Sitting at the intersection of client management, creative development, and production, you'll make sure every idea is executable within the available budget, timeline, and resources. Our clients know YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Meta inside and out, and this role calls for someone who understands what the client wants, what the creative team wants to make, and what it will actually take to produce it.
This is a freelance day-rate position, with most projects running 4 to 10 weeks and expected availability Monday through Friday during core working hours of 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM PST.
While we are open to remote candidates, hybrid is preferred for this role, with LA-area candidates attending client meetings at our office and around Los Angeles as needed.
Requirements
- Client Relationships: Serve as the primary client-facing producer on social, creator, and influencer campaigns across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Meta, building strong relationships and maintaining clear communication through the life of each project.
- Intake and Kickoffs: Lead client intake and kickoff conversations, asking the right questions to define creative, timing, budget, deliverables, and overall project scope.
- Creative Reviews: Review creative with clients, interpret feedback, and translate notes into clear next steps for the Creative and Production teams.
- Feasibility Assessment: Partner with Creative, Production, and other internal teams to assess project feasibility, bringing a production lens to early creative conversations to identify challenges, opportunities, and cost implications.
- Scoping and Budgeting: Convert client and creative conversations into clear scopes of work, accurate budgets, and practical schedules, gathering the inputs needed from internal teams and production partners.
- Budget and Scope Control: Monitor project budgets, flag variances and potential overages early, and communicate timelines, risks, and scope changes clearly to clients and Sawhorse leadership, including when additional scope requires additional budget or time.
- Production Risk Management: Identify production risks across crew, locations, talent, equipment, vendors, and post-production, and develop solutions that keep projects moving forward.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Build and manage schedules for each project, coordinating internal departments, vendors, freelancers, and production partners so everyone understands their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Delivery and Approvals: Manage projects through final client approval and delivery, keeping work aligned with the agreed-upon scope and creative intent.
- Social Advertising Trends: Stay ahead of advertising trends, formats, and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta, bringing current platform insight to clients who know these platforms thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in integrated production, creative production, agency production, or a similar role, working primarily on social and creator advertising for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Client-Facing Background: Experience working directly with clients in a creative agency, production company, or similar environment.
- Social Platform Fluency: Strong understanding of social platforms, how brands advertise on them, and current advertising trends on social media.
- Budgets and Scope: Strong understanding of production budgets, bidding, scheduling, resourcing, and scope management.
- Production Knowledge: Working knowledge of photo and video production, including crews, locations, talent, equipment, vendors, and post-production.
- Creative Feasibility: Experience assessing the feasibility of creative ideas and translating them into actionable production plans.
- Digital and Traditional Range: Experience across the digital space as well as the traditional TV and film industry.
- Communication and Organization: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to present project statuses in client and department meetings.
- Multi-Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Available to work weekends or late nights when required, and to be on set for production shoot dates.

- Based in the Los Angeles area and available for hybrid work, with the ability to attend client meetings in person
- Experience coordinating creator and influencer talent on branded campaigns
- Experience producing paid social deliverables, including cutdowns and platform-specific variants
- Familiarity with production budgeting and scheduling tools such as Movie Magic Budgeting, Airtable, or Google Sheets
- Exposure to emerging branded formats, such as UGC gaming platforms or generative AI content
Benefits
$750 to $1,000 per day depending on experience
