Job Description

【Summary】

Under the general direction of the Manager, Integrated Marketing, the Integrated Marketing Specialist, Performance is responsible for executing seasonal integrated marketing campaigns focused on HOKA’s Performance categories. This role supports the localization and execution of global marketing strategies for the Japanese market, ensuring creative assets and campaign activities are delivered on time, on brand, and with strong local relevance.

The role contributes to the planning and delivery of brand experiences across both physical and digital environments, with a focus on road running and trail running. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, athletes, and influencers, the specialist supports the effective execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen consumer engagement and brand impact in Japan.

【Job Responsibility】

■30%: Seasonal integrated marketing campaigns for Performance category stories

・Support the development and execution of seasonal marketing campaigns aligned with annual brand objectives.

・Coordinate the development of creative assets and paid media executions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

・Work with channel marketing teams to support the implementation of integrated marketing plans

■25%: Brand Experiences

・Support the planning and execution of seasonal brand experiences, including road and trail running events.

・Assist with digital engagement initiatives and partnerships with third-party organizations and brands

■20%: Creative asset management

・Support the development and localization of global creative assets, from agency briefing through production and delivery.

・Ensure deliverables meet briefing requirements, timelines, and creative standards.

・Contribute to copywriting and translation of product-related materials, catalogues, and trade collateral

■15%:Consumer champion

・Support consumer research initiatives for Performance consumer segments, including Pinnacle Performers and Elevated Achievers.

・Assist in gathering insights and reporting findings to inform marketing activities

■10%: Operations

・Support the coordination of external creative agencies, including partner evaluation, contract administration, invoicing, and briefing sessions.

・Coordinate product sample management, including ordering, storage, and inventory tracking

【Education/ Experience】

· Bachelor’s degree

· 2 years’ experience in a related role working with creative production, campaign planning and or brand event planning. Experience working on the brand side is required

· Experience with project management

· Experience operating effectively across cross functional teams

· Beyond the brand of HOKA, strong passion for the sport of running is a must and past participation in running events and races is needed

· Work experience in Footwear or related industry is not required but a plus

【Skills/Competencies】

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese to interact with colleagues and the executive management professionally

· A high level of English proficiency is not required but a plus.

· Organized and disciplined

· Able to find solutions to complex or ambiguous problems

· Strong interpersonal skills with ability to navigate internal organization

· Ability to use independent judgment in performing all duties of the position

· Strong ownership with a “get-things-done” mentality
