Job Description
VEIC is seeking an experienced Integrated Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication strategies to advance clean energy adoption. This role partners closely with VEIC’s Consulting division to ensure communications best practices are integrated across our portfolio, driving engagement and impact for client programs and projects. Key responsibilities include communications strategy and planning, client relationship management, and the successful execution of integrated marketing initiatives across paid, earned, shared and owned channels. This role leverages communications and marketing best practices, data, and insights to optimize performance and improve outcomes. This Integrated Marketing Manager collaborates closely with colleagues across Marketing & Communications, Consulting, and Business Development to embed effective communication solutions into our work and maximize organizational impact.
Essential Functions
- Manage a portfolio of client projects with diverse marketing and communication needs, ranging from fully integrated campaigns to the development of compelling reports and other deliverables.
- Lead the development, implementation, optimization, and measurement of integrated marketing solutions across touchpoints, including digital, social media, email, and events.
- Develop strategic briefs and communication strategies that translate client challenges into clear communications objectives, leveraging research, data, and insights to guide the development of differentiated and effective solutions.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, fostering trust, collaboration and effective scope management.
- Partner effectively with creative teams, digital developers, and research and insights groups to leverage the full suite of expertise to produce compelling and successful solutions.
- Provide guidance and clarity to clients and internal stakeholders regarding the role of Marketing & Communications, including how and when to engage the team, while identifying opportunities to expand communications support and organizational impact.
- Contribute to business development and proposal efforts by articulating the value of communications and marketing solutions, and collaborating on project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Champion a culture of excellence in creativity, collaboration, and client services across the department.

Knowledge and Experience
- Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals, and values of VEIC.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of professional marketing and communications experience, including at least three years managing complex portfolios and five years of marketing and communications project management experience.
- Deep understanding of integrated marketing strategies and channels, with the ability to assess client business challenges and develop communications strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
- Experience designing communications programs that drive awareness, participation, adoption, and long-term behavior change.
- Experience developing audience segmentation, value propositions, customer journey mapping, and audience-centered communications planning.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, data synthesis, and the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics and the ability to derive insights from performance metrics and campaign data.
- Demonstrated success leading and facilitating cross-functional teams, mobilizing organizational resources to accomplish shared goals.
- Experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior leaders and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to define project scopes, manage stakeholder expectations, document agreements, communicate results, and coordinate efforts.
- Strong project and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex marketing challenges.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business and design tools such as Figma, Monday.com, and NetSuite; ability to learn new programs quickly.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves desk-based work with extensive collaboration and communication responsibilities. Physical requirements include:
- Ability to remain stationary at a workstation for extended periods (typically 6-8 hours per day with regular breaks)
- Regular use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone/headset requiring fine motor skills and repetitive hand/wrist movements
- Visual acuity to view digital screens, documents, and presentations for prolonged periods
- Verbal communication abilities are sufficient for clear articulation during in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and discussions
- Auditory capabilities to participate effectively in conversations, conference calls, and virtual collaboration sessions
- Cognitive focus for simultaneous management of multiple communication streams, projects, and stakeholder relationships
- Occasional movement between meeting spaces, collaboration areas, and individual workstations
- Minimal lifting requirements (typically under 15 pounds) for office supplies, equipment, or materials

This position does not require regular travel. Occasional in-person attendance at company events or meetings (typically 0–2 times per year) may be encouraged, but participation is often optional or available virtually.
