Job Description

Meta's Public Affairs Marketing team builds campaigns that help people understand the impact of our products and our responsibility commitments. We partner across policy, communications, product, legal, creative, and research to show up in the conversations that matter most.

In this role, you will be responsible for building out our emerging creator program and executing global and domestic Public Affairs marketing and media partnerships around high-priority topics.

This role is for someone who is closely following the tech and geopolitical conversation online and is passionate about the narratives currently shaping the dialogue. This role requires experience designing a scalable program that brings trusted creators into our campaign storytelling and ideating, negotiating, and leading complex sponsored partnerships with top-tier partners.

People who use data to inform decisions, adapt to shifting priorities by reassessing scope and timelines, and navigate ambiguity by defining priorities, asking clarifying questions, and driving decisions with incomplete information will thrive in this role. If you are a strategic marketing leader who is creative, cares about the intersection of products and society, crafts compelling messages, and has experience managing multiple complex projects by prioritizing based on impact and deadlines, then we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Develop and launch integrated campaign programs from scratch – shaping strategy, narrative, and execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments across markets

  • Build a scalable program that brings emerging creators into our campaign storytelling
  • Lead media partnerships from first concept through signed agreement and execution, building and sustaining relationships with new and existing media and creator partners, prioritizing based on campaign timelines and business impact
  • Strategize and collaborate across the Public Affairs marketing verticals to integrate Creators and media partnerships into campaigns – including creator identification and vetting, briefing and content frameworks, measurement, and more
  • Build scalable playbooks, guidelines, and processes so that media partnerships and creator collaborations can grow efficiently
  • Track shifts in the media and creator landscape and bring new formats, partners, and ideas to the team
  • Apply data and insights to make campaigns more targeted and effective, refining objectives, audience, media, creative strategy, and measurement alongside cross-functional counterparts
  • Work in close partnership with the public policy, communications, product, and creative teams to ground campaigns in research and evidence and reach key audiences

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex partnership agreements involving editorial, events, talent, and measurement components

  • Experience building programs from scratch – setting strategy, defining processes, and scaling in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior executives internally and externally, including stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects by prioritizing based on impact, coordinating review processes, and communicating timeline trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Analytical orientation with experience using data and insights to shape partnerships, optimize performance, and demonstrate impact
  • Experience with budget ownership, contracting, and working closely with legal and compliance teams Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience working in political campaigns either working directly for a candidate or on an issue, or at an agency or consultancy
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience working across global markets and tailoring partnerships to regional nuances
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
