About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Audience - Consumer Marketing, the Integrated Marketing Communications & AI Enablement Lead is a pivotal leadership role responsible for architecting the Decorative communications ecosystem and leading the end-to-end integrated marketing strategy across our portfolio of brands.

This is a highly strategic role operating at the intersection of brand, media, retail, customer experience, data and AI. You'll balance competing brand, audience and commercial priorities, translating business strategy into a connected portfolio roadmap that maximises marketing effectiveness, commercial outcomes and long-term brand growth.

Leading a team of specialists across Media, Campaigns, PR, Partnerships, Content and Design, you'll establish audience-led planning across the portfolio while driving AI-enabled transformation and capability uplift across the marketing organisation. Success in this role will come from your ability to navigate complexity, influence senior stakeholders, optimise marketing investment and build future-ready marketing capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Integrated Marketing Communications & AI Enablement Lead, you will:

  • Lead the integrated marketing communications strategy across the Decorative portfolio, creating a unified audience-led planning model across brands, campaigns and channels.
  • Own portfolio-level campaign prioritisation and sequencing, balancing multiple brands, audience segments, retailer requirements and commercial objectives through an aligned 18-month roadmap.
  • Navigate portfolio complexity to identify synergies across brands while maintaining distinct brand strategies and positioning.
  • Drive AI-enabled marketing transformation, embedding best-practice tools, governance and workflows to improve content productivity, audience targeting, media optimisation, speed to market and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead the adoption and responsible use of AI across marketing, building capability and confidence across teams, agencies and stakeholders.
  • Design and embed operating models and ways of working that strengthen collaboration across Marketing, CX, Retail, Commercial teams and agency partners.
  • Lead sponsorship and partnership strategies to maximise brand value, audience engagement and commercial growth.
  • Oversee and optimise the agency ecosystem, ensuring integrated briefing, governance, accountability and performance across creative, media, PR and partnership agencies.
  • Champion audience insight, media effectiveness and marketing ROI through measurement frameworks, attribution, marketing mix modelling, retail media effectiveness and investment optimisation.
  • Establish marketing effectiveness standards and performance measurement frameworks that drive data-led decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Drive creative and channel integration excellence across paid, owned and earned channels to deliver distinctive and connected customer experiences.
  • Manage significant marketing investment, optimise spend and improve return on marketing investment across the portfolio.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team culture while uplifting marketing capability across the broader organisation through coaching, innovation and best-practice ways of working.

Our Benefits

  • Up to $1,000 net annually to cover private health extras gap costs
  • Exclusive discounts on DuluxGroup products and partner offers
  • Stay active anytime, anywhere through our partnership with Fitness Passport
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (primary carers) and 2 weeks partner leave from day one
  • Market-leading learning, development and career pathways

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing, communications or portfolio marketing functions within complex consumer, retail or FMCG environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-brand portfolios, balancing competing priorities and navigating complex stakeholder and commercial environments.
  • Strong track record developing portfolio-level marketing strategies, prioritisation frameworks and integrated communications plans that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI-enabled marketing transformation, including the implementation of new technologies, operating models, governance frameworks and capability-building initiatives.
