The Ops Specialist role is responsible for coordinating and planning customer orders and shipments, while managing inquiries about visibility, complaints, and ad hoc requests. The candidate will ensure customer satisfaction, collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop expertise in 4PL shared services, execute processes based on WI’s and SOP’s, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage activities related to the Ops Specialist function within the Bogota LCC; Accomplished by direct-line management of Ops Supervisors;
SOP (Standard Operations Procedure) and WI (Work Instruction) execution, observing and maintaining the customer service and service level agreements for all new and existing clients;
Manage and solve medium and high business issues with involved parties such as IT, procurement, quality or regional/ global LCCs at management level;
Consistent in time reporting of escalation potential to the relevant level of decision makers;
Observing training and general backing up of IL Operations Specialist for existing client and/or new scope and new client operations;
Quality audits related to general and client-specific quality programs, including GxP;
Identification of opportunity areas to increase operational productivity, in collaboration with Ops Manager and LPO’s, using advanced analytical tools for Root Cause Analysis and issue discovery.
