Job Role

The Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) Manager is responsible for driving the digital transformation of construction project delivery by integrating technology across the design and construction lifecycle. This role focuses on optimizing project coordination and efficiency through BIM, VDC, and other digital tools.

The ideal candidate must be a Tier 2 Digital Delivery Management (IDD) Accreditation holder and have a minimum of 4 years of IDD project experience, including involvement in IDD project activities and experience in the setup and management of a project delivery/workflow system / Common Data Environment (CDE).

In addition, the candidate should have a minimum of 6 years working experience in the Built Environment industry with either design and/or site experience, and project experience in BIM management/coordination of a project of similar scale or nature. The candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment and may be required to work both on‑ and off‑site.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Integration & Strategy

  • Lead the implementation of IDD strategies across design, construction, and handover phases of building projects.
  • Align digital workflows with corporate digital transformation goals and industry standards.

BIM & Coordination Management

  • Oversee BIM implementation and coordination among consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure consistent use of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and adherence to BIM execution plans.

Coding & Automation

  • Develop scripts and automation tools (e.g., using Dynamo, Python, or similar) to streamline BIM processes and data management.
  • Customize digital construction tools and dashboards to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT/Digital teams to integrate APIs, data flows, or platforms where needed.

Project Delivery Support

  • Facilitate digital tools integration such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Synchro into daily project workflows.
  • Support project teams in clash detection, 4D sequencing, and data validation.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct training and onboarding for internal teams and project stakeholders on IDD tools and workflows.
  • Act as the main point of contact for IDD coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track IDD implementation progress and generate reports on digital adoption, performance, and compliance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend innovations to improve digital delivery.

Build Digital Competency

  • Assist with coaching project stakeholders on the use of digital solutions.
  • Source relevant external training programmes and courses on digital solutions.
  • Gather information on organizational learning needs related to digital solutions.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Tier 2 Digital Delivery Management (IDD) Accreditation.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically on building projects, with at least 4 years of project experience, involvement in Project Integrated Digital Delivery activities, and setup and management of a project delivery/workflow system / CDE.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate digital delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Skills

  • Proficient in BIM and digital construction platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Synchro).
  • Strong understanding of CDE, BIM workflows, and 3D/4D/5D modeling.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with local building codes and regulatory digital mandates.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about digital innovation in construction.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience in both consultant and contractor environments.
