Job Description

The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care is seeking an integrated outpatient clinician to work with our clients in Granite City, IL. Position is full-time; daytime hours.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Help consumers to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery.
  • Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
  • Use evidence-based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation/parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports.
  • Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ supervised mental health experience and obtain Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) within 2 years of hire.
  • Must be willing to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and an electronic medical record.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
