You'll complete intake and assessment activities, coordinate referrals, provide high-quality administrative support and deliver practical, person-centred assistance to help clients achieve their goals.

This is a varied role combining customer service, administration and community support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping people while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

In this role you'll

  • Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive client outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate client records, case notes and documentation in line with organisational and legislative requirements.

  • Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, correspondence, appointment coordination and maintaining shared inboxes.

  • Assist with client onboarding, service coordination and day-to-day office administration.

  • Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and community stakeholders to support effective service delivery.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with funding requirements, organisational policies and privacy legislation.

About you

You're passionate about helping people and thrive in a role that balances client interaction with administration.

You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and maintaining high-quality administrative processes while ensuring every client feels welcomed and supported.

  • Experience in intake, administration, community services, customer service or support work.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting people from diverse backgrounds and with varying support needs.

  • Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience maintaining confidential electronic records and client databases.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

  • Experience using client management systems or CRMs (desirable).

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • A commitment to person-centred practice and Anglicare's Christian values.

Essential requirements

  • Current NSW Driver Licence.

  • Experience in community services, intake, administration or support work.

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Working With Children Check (where applicable).

  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

  • Salary packaging to maximise your take-home pay.

  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.

  • A supportive, collaborative and values-driven team environment.

  • Employee wellbeing initiatives and access to support programs.

  • Meaningful work where you can make a genuine difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities every day.
