The Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center is located in Downtown Nashville, right next to the Tennessee Titans stadium. We are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for at-risk youth. As part of our team, you’ll help provide care and supervision for young individuals awaiting trial, offering a mix of education, counseling, medical and recreation services. You’ll monitor activities, document behavior, and assist in various programs to support the growth and development of youth aged 12-18. Pay: $60,000.00 – $62,000.00 based on education and years of experience

What you will do:
As the Intake Coordinator/Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Intake Department in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment You will ensure cases are accurately monitored, processed, and transferred into the FamCare database. You will distribute daily census reports, court documentation, population movement sheets, and other required paperwork.
You will supervise, train, and support Intake staff, ensuring all intake and release procedures are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with contract requirements and company standards. You will need to remain organized, responsive, and calm while managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma BA preferred ~ Must have at least 1 year of experience working at-risk youth ~ Previous experience in data entry ~ 1 year supervisory experience ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License
